Why are you running for office? *
I live in 7th district in Baltimore & see the deprived conditions of the district everyday. The opioid crisis & murder rates that has now spread to Baltimore county, bother me continuously & I know this seat now needs to be fought for by the GOP. I want to reverse the damage done by gerrymandering & move the district into a better future, not ground it in past failed policies. I want to make sure funding actually makes it to the district for a change and the change is seen. We don’t need politics as usual at this point in history we need a change & I want to help make that change
Who do you consider your political role model, and why? *
Lt. Governor Winsome Sears, she's a republican icon & trailblazer that has won elections in democratic strongholds. Her advice to me was to go to places that democrats don't expect you to go & to not be afraid to do it. Her rise to office mirrors my efforts in Baltimore City & her path is the blueprint for effective unban conservatism.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why? *
Black Values Matter by Berney Flowers. The stories & solutions for Baltimore city are very personal to me. Mr. Flowers came to Baltimore City for his research for his book & I'm mentioned in the book. It's all true & I recommend it for anyone that wants to understand urban conservatism.
What will be your top priority in office? *
Fixing our failed school system, failing students at a early age( on purpose) puts towards poverty and crime.
What is the biggest issue facing your area? *
The biggest issue facing the 7th district is the opioid crisis. In 2020 the district had 761 alcohol & drug related deaths, 692 were opioid overdoses. It’s a crisis now & couple with the homicide rates, which has risen to 52% in Baltimore county, death has become our biggest issue.
What are the three biggest issues facing Maryland? *
I would say maximizing our surplus that Gov Hogan left behind but it's already compromised. I'd say our biggest issue in Maryland is Governor Moore himself, getting him out of office before he turns the state of Maryland into Baltimore City.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide) *
I'm Pro life and against assisted suicide. I'm against abortion especially in Baltimore City.
What is your position on taxes and spending? *
Governor Moore's spending is already out of control, we have ruin the surplus Gov. Hogan left behind. I'm working on lowering taxes in Baltimore city to stop the city's population decline.
What is your position on gun rights? *
I love the 2nd amendment & think we should have armed guards in our public schools. It will lower crime also if we allow Baltimore City residents to armed themselves for protection against the criminals. They get guns illegally already, they don't care about the law, we should, it's our right.
What is your position on marijuana? *
I believe in capitalism & want to operate a dispensary of my own. Other demographic citizens that say they're not for it own most of the dispensaries & making money off of it. Most in the inner city are denied licenses to own operate a dispensary of our own.
What is your position on transgender issues?
There is no such thing as a transgender issue, it's made up. Most research point to it being a mental illness, we have real issues in Baltimore like poverty and crime to put our attention to.
What is your position on land use, growth, and development? *
Environmental causes have advanced the most on on private lands, I consider the security of private property to be essential to the environment. Conservation is a conservative value as long as it's properly balanced with economics. Any policy that supports conservation should equally address economic growth & development. I also support access to public lands for hunting, fishing & recreational shooting.
What is your position on crime and public safety? *
With 300 plus murders in the city a year I support mandatory prison sentences for gang crimes, violent & sex offenses against children, repeat drug offenses, rape, theft & murder. With that said, I believe in the Prison Reform Justice act introduced by Senator Tim Scott & I support President Trump's First Step act.
What is your position on county tax caps? *
I'm for it & working on it now before I'm in office. The taxes in Baltimore are 3 times higher than anywhere in the state. That's an injustice to me.
What is your position on education? *
The school superintendent in Baltimore city needs to be fired for purposely failing our students ( & I'd also say jail, she should be ashamed of herself). For far to log the false narrative has been on the students of Baltimore City, that they can't learn or a lost cause. Now we know better, it is the system that has been failing them for decades. I'm for more charter schools in Baltimore, they seem to do a lot better & don't support that false narrative that our students are just dumb that's a little white lie.
What is your position on parental involvement in schools?
Taking the parents out of the school process is wrong, it's the parents that have the authority in their child's education.
Do you support a ban on biological males from playing girls or women's sports?
Yes
Do you support a ban on political flags (BLM, LBGTQ, Trump, etc) flags public schools
Yes
Was Joe Biden legitimately elected President of the United States in the November 2020 Election? *
No
Do you pledge to accept the results of your election? *
No
