Why are you running for office? *
Fighting the epidemic of crime will be my priority. I will use every resource and personnel available to assist State's Attorneys in prosecuting violent and repeat offenders. There should be no plea bargaining for these offenders. We must keep our children and families safe.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why? *
Ronald Reagan. His conservative agenda and personal strength led America to greatness. He was respected around the world. Americans were proud of their President.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why? *
REAGAN, An American Story. By Adriana Bosch. Tells the story of Reagan from actor to President and how he evolved into a conservative.
What will be your top priority in office? *
Reducing crime in Maryland.
What is the biggest issue facing your area? *
Violent and repeat crimes.
What are the three biggest issues facing Maryland? *
Crime, taxes and regulations, education.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide) *
I am pro-life (life of the mother is an exception). I am against assisted suicide.
What is your position on taxes and spending? *
Taxes and government spending must be reduced so Maryland remains a place where a middle class family can stay and raise a family.
What is your position on gun rights? *
I support the Second Amendment. We have enough laws, if enforced, to adequately punish criminals who use illegal weapons.
What is your position on the legalization of marijuana? *
I am against legalization but minor offenders with small amounts for personal use should not go to jail. They should receive treatment and counseling. Dealers and suppliers should go to jail. Marijuana leads users to more serious drug use like cocaine and heroin.
What is your position on the current three-tiered system for the sale and distribution of alcohol? *
Montgomery County should get out of the liquor business. Private enterprise should be in the liquor business not government.
What is your position on land use, growth, and development? *
Less taxes and regulations will benefit growth and development. Taxes and regulations are in the way of business location and growth in Maryland.
What is your position on crime and public safety? *
This is a priority of mine. We must prioritize the prosecution of violent and repeat offenders. No plea bargaining with them. They destroy the fabric of communities. These offenders often slip through the criminal justice system. They have to be targeted for maximum sentences.
What is your position on county tax caps? *
The lower the caps, the better.
Was Joe Biden legitimately elected President of the United States in the November 2020 Election? *
Yes
Do you pledge to accept the results of your election? *
Yes
