Why are you running for office? *
I am running for office because I feel there is no one stepping up to make decisions that support the middle and lower class majority. There is no one fighting for what is morally correct. We see a lot of people talking, but no action. I believe things are only going to get worse in our state until we have someone in leadership who has never been a part of the political games and agenda. I am a father, a small business owner, and community servant. I can truly represent the majority. I'm running as "unaffiliated" because I don't see integrity in either party. I want to make a better place for our children and to do that I have to be in a higher position of leadership. Many will jeer at my decision to run for Governor but no matter what they will be watching a man running for office who is grounded in honest character, which doesn't happen in politics anymore.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why? *
Jesus Christ. He stood for truth even if it cost him his life. I feel the same way.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why? *
"God and Cancel Culture" because it really hits home for where we are in today's society.
What will be your top priority in office? *
I don't have one specifically. There are many that share the same importance. Freedom, Education, Small Businesses, Mental Health, Public Safety, no more Tax increases.
What is the biggest issue facing your area? *
What are the three biggest issues facing Maryland? *
Education, Economy, and Corruption
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide) *
What does the Bible say?
What is your position on taxes and spending? *
No more taxes. I've made a promise to veto any bill regarding raising taxes. I want to be in position to see where our money is really being allocated, and from there we can make better decisions on spending. I want our community to have the say, not a few people in power positions.
What is your position on gun rights? *
I own a company that certifies people to receive their HQL and Concealed Carry Permits. I stand with the 2nd Amendment.
What is your position on the legalization of marijuana? *
Pharmaceuticals and Alcohol are worse than marijuana ..
What is your position on the current three-tiered system for the sale and distribution of alcohol? *
I am connected with many distilleries and breweries, I know first hand how difficult Government regulations make things for not only small businesses, but these specific ones. I believe there needs to be changes in this system, even though I personally do not consume alcohol.
What is your position on land use, growth, and development? *
I am for smart growth, meaning we need to make sure infrastructure is planned properly before we even consider development and making Maryland more dense. There are certain places like Montgomery County where I have lived most of my life which have created huge problems because the council and planning board passed things too quickly even though we fought against it. In regards to land use, we need to make sure we don't lose our agriculture presence in Maryland. I am partnered with a farm and can say that the families who work in agriculture are getting screwed by Maryland rules and regulations.
What is your position on crime and public safety? *
I am a supporter of Law Enforcement. I train and work with a lot of officers through my companies Blackrock Tactical, LLC and MMA & Sport, LLC. Our public safety employees need more support and backing. I want Maryland families to be the safest in the United States. In fact, I am hosting a Rally on Nov. 6th to support Law Enforcement Officers who have lost their lives to violence.
What is your position on county tax caps? *
How about no more raising taxes.. period.
Was Joe Biden legitimately elected President of the United States in the November 2020 Election? *
Do you pledge to accept the results of your election? *
