Who do you consider your political role model, and why? *
Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm is my political role model she fought for her constituents and she served her community well. She stood for what was right and she was not afraid to be a voice. I loved that she put the people first over politics.

Adam By Adam book an intimate portrait of one of the most influential, controversial, and complex Black Politicians. He delivered good services to his people. For candidates for the General Assembly: Legislators can receive $101 per day for lodging and $47 per day for meals during the 90-day General Assembly session. If elected, do you plan to accept these benefits? Why or why not?
I worked at the Maryland general assembly and those days are long. Having a place to rest and eat will help me stay on point .I probably would stay overnight and come home on the weekends to make sure I'm there, connect with colleagues to work legislation. Even with bad weather I would still have to show up. Everyday in session the general assembly is open. I will take the lodging and meals.
