Howard County Council Candidate Jessica Nichols spent hundreds on clothes and shoes

A Democratic County Council candidate in Howard County spent hundreds of dollars in campaign donations at retail clothing outlets.

Jessica Nichols, running in Howard County’s 2nd District, made multiple purchases at retail outlets like Ann Taylor, Nordstrom Rack, and Old Navy.

All in all, Nichols spent $1,383.03 on clothes and shoes, accounting for 9.6% of her total campaign expenditures during this campaign filing period.

I can’t wait for Nichols to explain to voters why her campaign donors should have to pay for her new wardrobe, nor can I wait for Nichols to explain to the State Board of Elections how a shopping spree at Ann Taylor is a “field expense” for your County Council campaign.

Either way, the entitled nature of our politicians remains constant regardless of party affiliation…
