Dan Cox Doesn't Know How Many Counties Maryland Has
Cox Has Been a Delegate for Four Years; how does he not know this?
Delegate Dan Cox sent more and more dire requests for campaign donations in the hours and minutes leading up to 12 Noon today and the start of the Maryland General Assembly session. And yet his latest one contained the most glaring error yet.
In his last request for funds this morning, which included bizarre unrelated missives about Rand Paul, Cox wrote:
And if you do nothing today, I will have nothing to use during those three months to speak for our freedoms in the gates of liberty. On the radio, on television, in the mails, door to door with our army of volunteers in all 24 counties and Baltimore City.
The problem is that Maryland has 23 counties, plus Baltimore City. You can say that Maryland has 24 counties, since Baltimore City is treated under state law like a county. You can say 23 counties and Baltimore City. But under no circumstances can you accurately say all 24 counties and Baltimore City.
This is low-hanging fruit, and yet Cox cannot accomplish that simple task that we learn about in elementary school. Doomed Dan is basically on the same level as Ben Jealous when it comes to his knowledge of state government. But Ben Jealous at least had the excuse of being an out-of-state when he ran for Governor. Dan Cox allegedly has lived his entire life in Maryland and has been serving in the House of Delegates for four years.
I can’t wait to hear what excuses Cox’s loyal army of suckers will line up to try to explain away Cox’s dim knowledge of our state.
