EXCLUSIVE: Corine Frank will not seek Re-Election
Anne Arundel County Board of Education Member Corine Frank has decided not to run for re-election, in a story exclusively reported by The Duckpin.
“It’s been the opportunity of a lifetime to serve our students and our county, but now is the time to focus on new opportunities for my family,” Frank said in a statement given exclusively to The Duckpin.
Frank was elected in 2020 and has often been the lone voice of reason on a Board of Education that has continually embraced more and more radical ways of thinking.
Frank has often been targeted by radical left-wing political groups like One Pasadena for her common sense stances on gender, critical race theory, and other matters impacting county school students.
Prior to her election, Frank was Executive Director of the Maryland Republican Party, serving in that position until the end of 2022.
The deadline to file for offices in Maryland is tomorrow, February 9th. Three other candidates have already filed to run for Frank’s seat.
