Matt Herold and Steve Stanowski won the 1st Annual Greater Baltimore Min-Golf Tour Doubles Tournament held at Island Green Golf Center in Westminster on Saturday.
The Duckpin was a proud sponsor of this event.
Herold and Stanowski shot a combined score of 72, winning the event by four strokes. The won a cash prize of $300.
Herold was a two-time winner on tour this year, winning the Scary Strokes Open in Perry Hall and the Bubba’s 33 Open in Gambrills.
Brittney Torroni and Bill Stahl won a four-hole sudden-death playoff over Gary Bruzdzinski and Brian Griffiths to win 2nd place and the $150 prize. Both teams shot a 76. Bruzdzinski and Griffiths officially finished 3rd, with a $75 cash prize.
Planning for the 2021 Greater Baltimore Mini-Golf Tour is underway, with a record-breaking seven tour events on the schedule, plus a cash tournament in March and the 2nd Annual Doubles Tournament in October.
