I’ve been very public with my conversion over the year. Once an agnostic/unreligious person, I began my conversion to Catholicism in 2012 and entered the One, True, Holy, and Apostolic Church in 2013.

As part of my faith journey I have reconsidered, and yes changed, my position on several issues—the two most visible of those issues being the death penalty and abortion. Once a staunch defender of abortion and welcoming abortion supporters into the GOP, I saw the error of my ways and realigned my position.1

My pro-life stance made it easy to decide not to vote for Donald Trump. Trump’s pro-abortion stances are well known, and while he gave lip service to the issue by appointing Supreme Court Justices that overturned Roe v. Wade. Regardless, it was an easy decision to not vote for Trump.2

Surprisingly, it also made it easy to decide not to vote for Larry Hogan for U.S. Senate.
