Klacik PAC Fundraiser to Feature QAnon Candidate Who Exaggerated Service Record
Kim Klacik figured if you don’t succeed, try try again.
Klacik is relaunching her grift PAC Red Renaissance next week at seemingly the only restaurant that will have her, Ryleigh’s Oyster in Hunt Valley.
In a video discussing the PAC and her fundraiser, Klacik is still living off the memory of her 2020 campaign where she lost to Kweisi Mfume twice by 48 and 43 percentage points, still acts like she is relevant and important in conservative political circles.
Since her failed campaign, she failed as a radio host at WBAL and resurfaced at fringe station WCBM.
Klacik’s fundraising graphic features J.R. Majewski. Majewski lost the Republican race for Congress in Ohio’s 9th District in 2022 and is running again in 2024. Majewski however grossly exaggerated his military service record in what can only be described as an incident of Stolen Valor:
Campaigning for a northwestern Ohio congressional seat, Republican J.R. Majewski presents himself as an Air Force combat veteran who deployed to Afghanistan after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, once describing “tough” conditions including a lack of running water that forced him to go more than 40 days without a shower.
Military documents obtained by The Associated Press through a public records request tell a different story.
They indicate Majewski never deployed to Afghanistan but instead completed a six-month stint helping to load planes at an air base in Qatar, a longtime U.S. ally that is a safe distance from the fighting.
Other attendees included on the graphic include Seth Weathers, who is involved in various conservative grifts including the “Real Women of America” calendar (in which Klacik appears as a model) and Gordana Schifanelli, who was last heard from when she bolted the GOP last year.
What Klacik plans to do with that money is, of course, questionable. No money has been disbursed from Red Renaissance to candidates. The largest expenditures the PAC has made has been for compliance consulting, legal consulting, and fundraising fees. Klacik has also paid herself $3,000 in “strategy consulting” for the PAC that she herself runs.
All in all, it’s just another day for Klacik who views self-promotion as the biggest thing she can achieve in the conservative movement.
