One Country, Parallel Legal Systems
How can there be Equal Justice Under the Law with this group running Washington?
When he was running to return to the White House last year, Donald Trump complained of unfair treatment from DOJ prosecutors after his departure from the White House.
Now that he has returned to Washington, Donald Trump has instead of unfair treatment set up two completely different Systems of Justice depending on whether or not you are a supporter of the President.
Are you a supporter of the President? You're in luck! Because then the DOJ won't even keep investigating you for crimes they suspect you committed! Just last week we learned the Homeland Security Secretary Tom Homan was under investigation for accepting a $50,000 bribe from an FBI agent. But that prosecution swiftly ended as soon as the Trump regime returned.
Convicted of a crime? Get a pardon just like the January 6ers did! Or Paul Walczak right after is mom attended a $1 million a plate dinner for Trump!
Want to run a pay-for-play scheme? No problem! Trump maintained what The New York Times described as a "Pay-for-Access" operation, with millions being raised for his pro-Trump PAC, MAGA Inc, which had collected $177 million dollars in the first half of 2025, twice as much than was raised by the Republican National Committee and unusually large for term-limited presidents. Millions were raised from individuals, lobbyists, corporations, and donors to it and other Trump-friendly outlets. Those that gave were granted access to the president and shortly afterward several received presidential pardons, favorable regulatory and policy actions, or appointments for government positions
Want to engage in Homan-style corruption? Sure! Trump also signed Executive Order 14209 to stop the Justice Department prosecuting Americans accused of bribing foreign government officials under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He also reversed a Biden-era ban which prohibited executive branch employees accepting major gifts from lobbyists and two year bans on lobbyists seeking executive jobs and vice versa.
Sell Teslas at the White House! Cryptocurrency schemes! Social media shares! If you are a friend of the President, you are cashing in at a record pace without fear of reprisal or prosecution.
If you are a political opponent of the President? Bad times, man. The President will pressure the Justice Department to indict and prosecute you on trumped up charges just because the President "knows" you're guilty.
Are you a justice department lawyer who doesn't buy into Trump's political persecutions? Be gone with you! On Friday, President Donald Trump pressured Erik Siebert, the U.S. Attorney for the eastern district of Virginia, to resign. He did so because Siebert had yet to find enough evidence to charge two certain Trump political enemies.
The people to whom Trump has directed legal action by the Justice Department toward include:
Adam Schiff
Leticia James
James Comey
John Bolton
Lisa Cook
Multiple law firms
CBS News
The Wall Street Journal
Now he is aiming for the tax exempt of certain left-leaning groups, a bit of an irony considering the same administration stated that Churches can endorse candidates from the pulpit and not endanger their tax exempt status.
Where does this madness end? It ends with two Americas, two systems of justice, two different American experiences. It ends with an America where friends of the regime get to break the law with impunity and enemies of the regime will be subject to harassment and legal action even if they do nothing wrong.
Right now, America has two parallel legal systems at the federal level. This is not the country we grew up in. Nor is it the kind of country that any moral person would want to live in.
