Pros Dominate at Maryland State Mini-Golf Championship
Justin Seymour wins the inaugural event by six strokes
The pros dominated the field at the First Annual Maryland State Mini-Golf Championship Presented by Georges on York Bed and Breakfast on Saturday at Island Green Family Fun Center in Westminster.
Justin Seymour of Connecticut won the title by six strokes, shooting a -24 under 144 over four rounds at the par 42 course. He adds the Maryland State championship to his other recent titles, including the Maine Mini-Golf Open and the Pat Guglielmo Memorial Tournament in Framington, CT. Seymour is a two time winner of the Matterhorn International Pro-Am, also in Connecticut.
Hall of Famer Dr. Brad Lebo of Pennsylvania finished second. The former Masters and three-time U.S. Open Champion shot 150 for -18 under par.
Greater Baltimore Mini Golf Tour regular Aaron Kaminski of New Jersey’s O-Street Mini Golf finished third with a nine-under 159.
The 2022 Maryland State Mini-Golf Championship will be held next September. The date and location remain to be determined.
The next Greater Baltimore Mini-Golf Tournament event will be the 2nd Annual Doubles Tournament, held this year and the new Mountain Run Mini-Golf in Fallston.
