Shore Times Linked to Schifanelli
Pro-Cox "News Site" Shares PO Box with Running Mate's Campaign Account
A pro-Dan Cox news site shares a PO Box with the campaign account of Cox’s running mate, Gordana Schifanelli.
The Shore Times has been sharing pro-Cox campaign stories like this:
That story is a poorly written regurgitation of Cox talking points, and includes fun buzz words like “the Globalist UN Agenda 2030”, “jabs” and other fringe nonsense.
One of the fun things about that story is this:
Cox’s running mate, Gordana Schifanelli independently challenged Kelly Schulz’s statements that “Maryland is the fastest growing economy in the Union”- a claim which has never been substantiated with facts from the former Commerce Secretary. Ms. Schifanelli referenced Maryland’s staggering statistics on numerous categories from the U.S. News and World Report 2020 and 2021 – and those facts have never been disputed.
Here’s a video obtained by The Duckpin of what that looked like when Schifanelli actually did “independent challenge” Schulz when Schifanelli interrupted Schulz at a recent event.
Not sure what Schifanelli being a rude, petulant child in the middle of a campaign event is supposed to accomplish, but that’s not important to the story.
The Shore Times contact page lists this as their P.O. Box.
However, that address is the same address as Gordana Schifanelli’s campaign fundraising account for her Lt. Governor campaign.
It is also the address for the Schifanelli law firm owned by Schifanelli’s husband Marc which also employs Gordana as an attorney.
So what we have is a “news outlet” that is sharing a P.O. Box with a Campaign for Lt. Governor of Maryland and the law firm of the aforementioned candidate actively promoting slanted stories on behalf of the candidate and the candidate’s ticket. No wonder when they purchased the domain they made sure to list it as a Domain by Proxy with the ownership information obscured.
I’ve seen some questionable things in politics before. But Gordana Schifanelli and her news outlet may very well have taken the cake.
Disclaimer: The Duckpin has endorsed Kelly Schulz for Governor.
