The Cox Obsession
Dan Cox is running for Congress, not Senate. So why does he talk about Larry Hogan so much?
Dan Cox is running for Congress. You would think he would be focused primarily on talking about issues related to Congress and contrasting himself against his opponents.
No, instead Cox is showing an unhealthy obsession with Larry Hogan. Again.
Adam Pagnucco reprints this lastest missive from Cox, which focuses on Hogan and his connection to Cox’s former House-mate and primary opponent Neil Parrott:
My RINO opponents like to smirk at America First candidates such as myself – all while many of these same so-called “conservative” neo-globalist candidates grow quiet and even join in support for the leaders of the pro-globalist cabal that locked down our churches, schools, businesses and homes – and threatened our homes during Thanksgiving with government snitch lines like a bunch of radical communist STASI.
People died from the executive orders preventing care and access to try safe medications. How dare they try for office again!
BE WARNED: even my friend and opponent Neil Parrott now supports the World Economic Forum (WEF)-embracing Hogan who has done nothing but advance their globalist agenda and crush our liberty here in Maryland and these United States – including threatening and intimidating our governors and states, and who put Maryland back into the Paris Climate Treaty illegally.
But I am here to STAND and DEMAND with you: no more wishy-washy leadership parroting the globalist cabal. I will clean House! America is fading fast but we can save our Constitution and freedom if we transform and restore our Republic from the top to the bottom now.
Once you get past the fact that the email itself is insane, it also shows that Cox is continuing to fundraise off of the legacy of Larry Hogan. That isn’t the only time he’s done it, either.
Can you imagine voting for someone who might support or fail to lift a voice and effort to defeat this measure that could give away our national sovereignty over our own bodies and daily lives during declared "emergencies" - and silence those who object?
But that is what District Six could do if they do not ask these tough questions. My opponents are each silent on this matter and Neil Parrott went so far as to support a man - Larry Hogan - who supports Pandemic Lockdowns and if elected would therefore be positioned in the Senate to ratify this dangerous and deadly treaty.
I guess Cox forgot the part where his God-king Donald Trump initiated the lockdowns, right? And of course, let’s not forget this clip of Dan Cox praising Larry Hogan for his COVID response.
What do you expect I guess from a guy who holds “Catturd” in high regard, right?1
Here’s the thing though; none of Cox’s attacks make any sense at all.
Dan Cox remains the likely Republican nominee for Congress in the 6th District. Larry Hogan is practically a shoo-in to be the Republican Senate nominee. How exactly are Cox’s rabid attacks against Hogan supposed to help him win a general election? That party is especially poignant considering that Cox’s attacks on Hogan will not help him bring aboard any primary voters who were not already predisposed to voting for Cox.
Even more bizarre is the fact that Cox’s God-king Donald Trump is staying out Larry Hogan’s way. Considering that Donald Trump is practically Dan Cox’s life coach these days, why won’t Cox take the hint and focus on his own problems?
The problem that Cox has in this election is the same problem that he had in the last election. He doesn’t understand how to get elected. When he ran for Congress in 2016, he lost decisively. When he ran for Governor in 2022, he lost decisively.
It is not a coincidence that Cox’s one significant electoral victory was in 2018, riding Mike Hough’s coattails, and running virtually unopposed.
So what is Cox’s obsession with Larry Hogan based on? Some of it is ignorance and incompetence, but a lot of it is based in jealousy insofar as Larry Hogan was elected Governor of Maryland twice and Dan Cox received a historic ass-kicking when he ran and trailed the vote total of every other Republican candidate. Nothing else explains it.
It’s not politics anymore for Cox. It’s pure, unfiltered jealousy.
Don’t you love how the people who think Trump should be immune from prosecution as a former President want to prosecute other former Presidents? Idiots….
