The Monday Thought
This is the picture of a pro-Hamas rally in Washington from this weekend.
Marches like this are happening all over the world. They are being held under the guise of “pro-Palestine” marches. But the Palestinian Authority wants the world to know that they have nothing to do with Hamas and its barbarity.
Now part of this has to do with the longstanding rivalry between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas. After all, they’ve been in armed conflict with each other for years. Part of it has to do with the fact that the Palestinian Authority is likely to wind up in charge of Gaza once all of this is over. But the fact remains that the Palestinian Authority wants nothing to do with being associated with the heinous crimes of Hamas.
This of course reinforces the point that Israel is not at war with Palestinians, but with Hamas. And THAT, is what makes the pro-Hamas protests occurring all over the world that much more damning.
Yes, it has produced hilarious moments like this….
…..but what you are seeing around the world right now is how people would have acted in the late 1930’s. All of the same people who tripped all over themselves telling people how antifascist they were and how ready they were to punch Nazis were first in line to march in support of the fascists and the Nazis.
Hamas is not an oppressed group. They are a sickening terror face that invaded Israel, killed Israelis in their sleep, and then called their parents to brag about how great it was. Hamas is not waging a defensive war of survival. They are waging a genocidal war of extermination.
And yet people from around the world are showing up to protest in support of them. Things like this are happening in New York City…..
I’ve got bad news folks. The people have gone mad. The world is unstable. And the worst is yet to come.
