Woodsboro Burgess (Mayor) Calls on Trump to Declare Martial Law Over Assassination of Kirk
Heath Barnes is calling on Trump to suspend civil liberties after Wednesday's shooting
Woodsboro Burgess (Mayor) Heath Barnes urged President Trump to declare Martial Law in response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk today.
No content to leave well enough alone, Barnes went on to say that we may be heading for a Civil War in this country, and that “This is not a war that the left wants.”
Finally, Barnes suggested that the assassination of Kirk was akin to the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Barnes was recently re-elected as Burgess of Woodsboro after the controversial disqualification of a write-in opponent.
Barnes has twice failed in efforts to win higher office, being soundly defeated in a 2022 campaign for Delegate in District 3, and withdrawing from a 2024 race for Congress in District 6 well before the filing deadline.
