Yes, Charles Lollar is Running for Office....Again
Politics Answer to the Washington Generals is back at it

Yup, it’s true. The political world’s answer to the Washington Generals is back at it once again. Former Republican gubernatorial candidate Charles Lollar has again resurfaced as a candidate for office in Georgia.
This time, Lollar has returned to identifying as a Republican and is running for Georgia State Representative in the 110th District. According to Fair Maps Georgia, the district is a Solid Democratic District.
Lollar first ran for office in 2002 for Cobb County, GA Council and 2004 in a run for a local school board.
I have extensively covered Lollar’s disastrous political career in Maryland. After losing a race for Congress in 2010, Lollar made history in 2014 as the first candidate to ever lose two separate races in one year. He finished a distant 3rd in the race for Governor in the primary and finished a distant 2nd as a Republican nominee for Charles County Commissioner.
In 2020, Lollar reinvented himself as an independent social justice candidate for Congress last. Lollar failed to qualify for the ballot in his Congressional run but did resurfaced last year to run for Lawrenceville City Council. And lose.
Lollar abandoned his residence in Maryland shortly after losing both elections in 2015, according to one of Lollar’s two LinkedIn profiles. Interestingly, it says that he still has a job as President of McLane Company despite listing Retired Military as his occupation.
Lollar, oddly, has still a second linked in profile from his time as the Republican nominee for Congress in Maryland’s 5th District.
Lollar’s run for City Council marks Lollar’s ninth run for office since 2002. So far, Lollar has a record of 0-8. I guess some people just can’t get take the hint.
